On 3 March 2023, Baku Stock Exchange hosted a Ring the Bell event on the occasion of a new bond issue by Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO)

CEO of the Baku Stock Exchange Eldar Abdullayev announced the "Opening Bell" ceremony and said that the issue of ASCO bonds through the stock exchange was the successful result of measures taken towards the development of the financial sector in our country.

 ASCO Chairman Rauf Valiyev said in his opening remarks that the proceeds from the bonds will contribute to the development of ASCO, which is considered one of the oldest companies in Azerbaijan and which generates profit year after year. The proceeds from this will be used to expand the company's operations beyond the Caspian Sea, as well as to acquire new types of larger vessels to carry cargo in international basins. The ASCO Chairman expressed confidence that the issued bonds would contribute to the revival of the country's securities market and create profitable and reliable investment opportunities for our citizens.

 Based on the decision of the Listing Commission of Baku Stock Exchange on 29 December 2022, Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company's bonds with a total nominal value of 100,000,000 (one hundred million) USD were placed in the premium segment of the market. 100,000 bonds with a nominal value of 1,000 USD each will remain in circulation for 5 years. Their annual yield is 6%. Interest will be paid every 6 months. The underwriter of the offering is PASHA Capital Investment CJSC.

The subscription for the bonds began on 29 December and lasted until 28 February.
