On March 15, 2024, within the framework of the "Investment Journey" project, an event was organized in the city of Guba with the participation of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Baku Stock Exchange, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA), and Investment Companies.
At Guba event, business entities operating in the region were informed about the opportunities of the organised capital market and the advantages of listing on the Baku Stock Exchange. Presentations were made at the event in the direction of raising awareness of the securities market, increasing interest in this area in the regions, and directing the attention of the business community to the capital market.
Within the framework of the event, farms of business entities interested in financing through the capital market were also visited by investment companies and their financing opportunities were assessed.
Noteworthy, this is the eleventh such event. Previously, the Investment Trip event was organised in the cities of Ganja, Khachmaz, Lankaran, Yevlakh, Gabala, Shamakhi, Shabran, Geychay, Shamkir and Nakhchivan. The purpose of regularly organised investment visits is to inform business entities operating in the regions about the securities market, which is an alternative source of financing.
