Expressbank OJSC has announced its financial indicators for the first quarter of 2021. According to the report, the Bank ended the first quarter of this year with a net profit of 3.1 million.

According to the results of the first quarter of 2021, Expressbank OJSC has fulfilled all prudential standards set by the Central Bank at a high level. Thus, as of March 31, 2021, the Bank's Tier I capital adequacy ratio was 47.3%, the total capital adequacy ratio was 49.6%, and the leverage ratio was 35.5%. After the deductions, the bank's tier I capital amounted to 114.9 million manats, and total capital amounted to 120.47 million manats. The total capital of Expressbank increased by 2% compared to the end of last year and amounted to 124 million manats. These indicators once again prove that the bank is financially sound and sustainable.




Since the beginning of this year, Expressbank OJSC has offered its customers various loan campaigns on favorable terms. As a result, the volume of business and consumer loans issued by the Bank in the first quarter of 2021 amounted to 45.43 million manats, and at the end of the quarter, the total loan portfolio of the Bank amounted to 213.24 million manats.



In cooperation with the Entrepreneurship Development Fund, the Bank has been providing preferential loans to entrepreneurs affected by the pandemic since August last year on the basis of state guarantees. Compared to the last quarter of last year, the volume of subsidized loans in the first quarter of this year increased by 76% to 4.7 million manats.




Expressbank's deposit portfolio increased compared to the last quarter of last year. Thus, the deposit portfolio increased by 4.6% to 64.23 million manats. In the first quarter of this year, the Bank attracted more than 17 million manats in deposits.




According to the results of the first quarter of 2021, the total turnover of non-cash payments made by the Bank with payment cards amounted to 43.05 million manat, and the turnover of contactless payments amounted to 4.03 million manat. These indicators reflect the bank's support for the promotion of cashless payments.
