An Opening Bell dedicated to gender equality was held at the Baku Stock Exchange

In 2020 Baku Stock Exchange launched cooperation with UN Sustainable Stock Exchange Initiative Group (UN SSE) and World Federation of Stock Exchanges (WFE).

As a result of this cooperation,  the "Ring the Bell Gender Equality" event was organized by the Baku Stock Exchange on March 9, 2021 in the format of a video conference. The event featured a presentation by UN Development Program experts on the principles of gender equality and sustainable development..

            It should be noted that every year in the first week of March, the UN Sustainable Stock Exchange Initiative Group and the World Federation of Stock Exchanges together with its member exchanges hold an "Opening Call for Gender Equality" event.. This year, 107 stock exchanges around the world held the "Opening Bell for Gender Equality" event, and the Baku Stock Exchange joined the event for the first time.
