On April 5-6, 2021, a certified online training named: "Issue of securities, listing on the Stock Exchange and initial public offering" will be held by the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA), the Baku Stock Exchange and Ernst & Young (EY) for small and medium SME entities.
During the two-day training the experts of the Central Bank and the Baku Stock Exchange will provide detailed information on the capital market, securities issue, listing procedure, advantages of listing on the stock exchange and discounts for listed companies.
At the same time, EY experts will deliver speeches on “Initial Public Offer”, general accountability of SMEs and proposed solutions. Also, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development's will deliver speech on “Financial Management Development Program”. During the training, the Baku Stock Exchange will share the experience of local companies in the field of capital market financing under the "Listing Advisory Program" with representatives of participating companies.
It should be noted that the Baku Stock Exchange, together with its partner companies and organizations, regularly organizes free trainings to raise awareness of the capital market, inculcate the practice of issuing securities in the local business environment and promote listing on the stock exchange.
