On December 19th of 2008 Baku Stock Exchange held a regional securities conference in Sheki city within the framework of the project “Stock market: learn and earn with us”. The conference was closely supported by Executive Power of Sheki city and Sheki regional Business Training Center.
About 15 local joint stock companies and organizations attended the conference. The representatives of Baku Stock Exchange, State Committee for Securities, National Depository Centre, and the head of “Tekhnika Capital Management” Brokerage Company delivered speeches at the conference. The attendees were provided with detailed information on the Azeri securities market and its opportunities. The event provoked a great interest o the local business audience.
It should be noted that Baku Stock Exchange has been carrying out the campaign “Stock market: learn and earn with us” since the end of 2007. The main goal of this educational campaign is to inform the regional business circles and entrepreneurs about the local stock market and its perspectives.

On April 18th of 2008 Baku Stock Exchange jointly with Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) and with the support of State Committee for Securities under the auspices of the President of Azerbaijan Republic held a regional securities conference in Lankaran city within the framework of the project “Stock market: learn and earn with us”. The managers and participants of more than 30 local enterprises and companies including the representatives from the Lankaran city office of Ministry of Economic Development attended the conference. The representatives of Baku Stock Exchange, State Committee for Securities, National Depository Centre delivered speeches at the conference.
In addition, the managers and representatives of such broker companies as AzerInterTrade and Tekhnika Capital Management informed the conference participants about their activity in the securities market of the country. The attendees were provided with detailed information on the stock market and its infrastructure, prospects and opportunities, and all questions of interest were answered. The event provoked a great interest o the local business audience.
It should be noted that during the campaign “Stock market: learn and earn with us” the first analogical conference took place in Ganja city in December of the past year. The main goal of this campaign is to develop interest to the stock market and increase knowledge of business circles and entrepreneurs about securities.

On December 7th of 2007 Baku Stock Exchange jointly with Ganja Entrepreneurs Association and with the support of State Committee for Securities under the auspices of the President of Azerbaijan Republic held the first regional securities conference in Ganja city within the framework of the project “Stock market: learn and earn with us”. The managers and participants of more than 60 local enterprises and companies, including the representatives from the Ganja city office of Ministry of Economic Development and local executive powers attended the conference.

In addition, the managers and representatives of such broker companies as Standard Capital, AzerInterTrade, and Tekhnika Capital Management informed the conference participants about their activity in the securities market of the country. The attendees were provided with detailed information on the stock market and its infrastructure, prospects and opportunities, and all questions of interest were answered.

It should be noted that during the campaign “Stock market: learn and earn with us” similar events will also be organized in other regions of the republic. The main goal of this campaign is to develop interest to the stock market and increase knowledge of business circles and entrepreneurs about securities.
